Already dreaming on the summer? But no idea where to travel? Finland is at its best in summer time but just in case, here are some of my recommendations for summer vacations in Europe 2011. And all of these are my favourite destinations.
Discover Istanbul - The city between East and West. Drink Turkish tea and smoke narghile, play tavla and enjoy the day watching people walking in the streets, do a day trip to the Princess Islands, explore the busy streets of Taksim and avoid drinking too much raki.

Switzerland - Cheese, wine and mountains. Hiking in the Alps with breathtaking views, shopping in Zürich, drinking marvelleous wines and having a cheese fondue dinner, day trip to the small mountain villages with the panorama train.

Slovenia. Spend a day in the refreshing waterfalls of Vintgar and lake of Bled, combine the mountains with a Mediterranean beach holiday, enjoy the hospitality of Slovenian people and the relaxed atmosphere in Ljubljana.

Croatia. Explore the Mediterranean as it use to be, amazing beaches, islands and small villages from the Middle Ages, sail and watch one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world, and of course party in Zagreb.

Sardinia. My favourite. Amazing people, friendliness, hospitality. Great food. Crystal clear water with thousands of different shades of blue and turquoise. Incredible beaches, and the sun. Avoid crowdiness in the northern part of the Island, try the south for a change. My favourite spot is Cala Mariolu in the Eastern Sardinia!
